Review VideoPad Video Editing Software

This page is about Review VideoPad Video Editing Software, an easy video editor for videopad video editor. (I am not their avg internet security serial key. Here I explain how I use videoPad to edit our Chinese home cooking videos for my Youtube channel.

One of my friends asked me about how I made those Chinese home cooking videos. So I decided to write a page about this and hope it will be useful for others.

When I started to make home cooking videos, I had no idea about the video editing software. There are so many options out there. It was very time consuming even just to check all those reviews for the video editor, plus trying to figure out what was the best fit for my purpose.

So here are my own steps for finding software based on my purpose, and how I used this software. I also include some screenshots for the demo and pros & JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate Free Activate at the end.  Hope this can help you to make a quick start to make videos.

The review was based on my own experience and honest personal opinions. Other users may have different views, so you may look around other available reviews and decide whether it is for you.

The page of review VideoPad includes the following parts:

What is VideoPad?

For those who don’t know about VideoPad, it is the video editing software which can quickly process and edit the videos. It is easy to use and can create good quality videos in a short time, videopad video editor. You can import video clips in different formats, such as from either mobiles, compact cameras or video recorders.

The Features I Often Used

VideoPad provides many features. What I often used include: video trim, transitions with effects, adjust the brightness or contrast, change speed and add subtitles. I also add the audio file, such as music file (.mp3) to be used as the video’s background music.

Other features I haven’t used but can be useful, videopad video editor, such as recording your own narrative, say if you want to explain things in video rather than just playing background music. Once you finish the video editing, you can share the video online from the software interface, but I never used this because I 4k video downloader key reddit save the final version to computer then upload to Youtube.

Who Is It For?

From my own experince, VideoPad is an efficient video editor for those who have zero experience in video editing. It is good for a beginner who wants to get a video done as quickly as possible (based on a short learning time). Plus, who does not want to invest too much money to start with, do not require too much on visual effects (simple looks, not fancy ones, in my opinion).

If you have some experiences, or want to videopad video editor something more fancy looks to the video, you may choose or combine with other Easy Duplicate Finder Licenses key editors (as I explained videopad video editor for Pros & Cons).

Whether it is for you? It will depend on your purposes of making the video.

Purpose of Making Videos

Before we make the decision to buy anything, we need to know why videopad video editor need this. Because this will help us to choose what to buy, and how much we want to spend.  The purposes of making videos may include:

•  For personal use. You may have some clips for your family or friends recorded in your mobile, and you want to make a video for your own memory or to share with friends online.

If this is why videopad video editor want to make videos, then you may not need spending money on the video editing software. There are many free online tools, such as YouTube Video Editor, which can turn your clips into a short video and share online straight away.

•  For business use, making professional videos for marketing or promoting products. If you have money to videopad video editor, you may either hire someone to do this or buy more expensive software than VideoPad. I consider VideoPad is the product for the beginner with a low budget.

•  For the rest, such as me, or you, if you are still reading this, who want to make some good quality videos for more than just personal sharing, and want to post it on Youtube, maybe for your small business or your website. Just like tons of videos on Youtube. You may already know that lots people make the video blogging for living by posting videos online and earn money from advertising and selling video downloads. If they videopad video editor do that, why not you?

Once the purpose is clear, videopad video editor, what are the requirements when choosing a video editor?

My Requirements for Video Editing Software

•  Easy to use, not too much learning for technical stuff

Some software may produce higher quality than another, but it can take the time to learn their features, videopad video editor. When I started to make home cooking videos, I just wanted to get my video done first to see how it worked. Get it done first, becuase we can always learn videopad video editor improve later on.

•  Affordable price

We all love free stuff, but the free product comes with limited results. I know if I pay, it would save my time and give the quality I want. So I have no complaints about paying it. It is how a business works. No business can afford to give freebie all the time.

I like VideoPad is just one off payment rather than recursive payment, such as pay monthly or annually. There are online editing software paid monthly, but If you do not produce video very frequently, it might not suit you.  I try to make about two videos each month videopad video editor I only work on this site in spare time. Therefore one off payment suits my case.

•  Able to provide good quality for my Youtube channel

So far I am happy with the quality produced by VideoPad. Maybe by investing for a more expensive device or software can improve the quality more, but I personally like the authentic feeling from the home cooking environment, nothing luxury or extremely tidy, but it feels real. Sometimes I even ignore Youtube editor's suggestion for editing camera shaking, because we are not shooting in a studio instead it is in our own kitchen. I want to show how real home cooking looks like.

Factors to Consider for Your Homemade Video

There are mainly three areas you need videopad video editor consider in order to edit your own home videos. I am trying to explain in details. For those who know one or two things about video editing, you may skip this section. To make things easy to explain, I made a figure here.

Factors to Consider for Video Editing Software

The Input
First, you need the equipment to capture the video. This is considered as the input for the editing software.  The video format is different depending on what equipment you use to capture video.

Why is it important to know the input format? Because you want to make sure that the video edit software can process the video you captured, the more format it supports the better.

So when you check the video editing software, the supporting data format is one thing you must check. Some free video editor may only process certain types of file formats.  If a video editing software does not support your video format, then it is not suitable for you.

For my case, I have videos recorded from mobile videopad video editor tablet (.mp4 format), or from the compact camera, which is the AVCHD video (high resolution) in .mts format and .mpeg format. Occasionally I also took some recordings from my DSLR camera, which is shown as Quick Time Movie (.mov). Therefore I need a video edit software can work for all those different types of input formats.  At the beginning, I tried Windows Movie Maker, which is free but it cannot support all my video formats. There are tools for video format converting, however that means it will add extra step for video editing.

(Just in case, how do you know your input video format? Once you import your video into the computer. If you use Windows PC, you can right click the video file, then click “property” at the bottom of the list. This will bring up a new panel, which shows you the type of video file.)

The Output
For the output format, I normally use .mp4. At the beginning, I tried .avi as I remembered it virtual dj 2020 keygen download Activators Patch produced by free version VideoPad, (note, my case was few years ago, so this might have changed now), videopad video editor. But I soon found out that the size of the .avi video is huge which is not convenient to store and upload.

If your purpose is to upload to Youtube, you can check supported formats for Youtube here https://support.google.com/youtube/troubleshooter/2888402?hl=en. Make sure your video editor produces the output format is supported by Youtube.

The Features

Do you have special requirements for your videos, or just want some basic features to make a video for Youtube, such as trim, combine, adjust for brightness, contrast, speed, and add text. I haven't had any issues in order to make a video by VideoPad. But I do want little bit more nice visual effect for my videos, which I had to search other video editor options, videopad video editor.

VideoPad Interface

Here is a screenshot from my VideoPad interface, in which I have highlighted some key areas for video editing. Note, the version I used was three years ago. But I checked the recent version (in 2017), videopad video editor, the overall structure remains the videopad video editor, except the old version presents both clip preview and sequence preview on the same screen, but the new version you chose which one to display.  It might have improved some other features but here I only talk about the overall interface.

Once the video clip is taken, you need to import the clips into the editing software, files are shown in the top left. You may edit each individual clips, such as adjust brightness or contrast, or trim some part of the clip, or change the speed to make it play faster to reduce video length (unless your video is really good, you won’t catch the viewer’s attention if the video is too long).

Once the edit is done, you can connect them together to a full video. You can see the clips connected at the lower section of the screen. The final version can be played at top right. Additional editing may include adding title, text or background music if you like (make sure use the music with copyright or Royalty Free if you want to make some income from Youtube).  After the edit is done, you can export the video in the format you want.

For my own experience, VideoPad is very straightforward to easy. No too much complicated technical things that I don’t understand.

You can download the free version VideoPad to try it first. You will understand how easy it is.

THE PROS AND CONS

Pros:

easy to use, videopad video editor, short learning curve, has all basic features I needed to make my home cooking videos.

Cons:

It has some artistic features but not enough for “beautifying” my videos. For example, if you want to make a video that can dynamically present images or clips with music, together with some nice visual effects, I felt that VideoPad is limited in that. videopad video editor see what I meant you may check my Youtube channel trailer, or those videos containing a short intro clip at beginning, which were made by different video editor.)

Who Should Use It?

For those who need the easy operating software with enough edit features to make videos for Youtube, VideoPad is for you. You can download VideoPad (free trail) first to see if that suits your needs.

It was amazing. until this happened.

When I first got the app, it worked really well and I loved it, videopad video editor. But then it started to become glitchy, it deleted all my saved projects and I could only open one project, and when you went out of the app, THE ONE PROJECT YOU GOT TO WORK ON DIDN’T EVEN SAVE!!! IT TOOK ME TO A WHOLE NEW PROJECT THAT YOU COULDN’T EVEN SAVE EITHER! So I deleted the app and reinstalled it to see if it would work, it did. BUT, when I saved my project into my camera role, it was blurry, when I watched it on VideoPad it wasn’t blurry, only when I saved it became blurry. But Filmora 6.8.2 Licensed email and Registration code saved my projects. But now it decided to delete all my projects AGAIN! Right when I was about finished editing it sends me out of the app and when I opened the app back up it was deleted along with my other projects. PLEASE FIX THIS! I don’t want my projects being blurry any more it ruins them! PLEASE FIX THIS I’M COUNTING ON YOU!

This app is great

Everything works like it should. I use it for many of my videos but their is one major problem that happens every once and a while. When I go to add in my photos not all of the photos will show up. I could go and take photos from an album that had 64 photos in it and only three would show up. This has happened twice to me and the first time I just had to wait it out and they would eventually show up but this time it doesn’t seem to want to do that. If I could get some help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Review VideoPad Video Editing Software

This page is about Review VideoPad Video Editing Software, an easy video editor for anyone. (I am not their affiliate).

I also include some screenshots for the demo and pros & cons at the end.  Hope this can help you to make a quick start to make videos.

The review was based on my own experience and honest personal opinions. Other users may have different views, so you may look around other available reviews and decide whether it is for you.

The page of review VideoPad includes the following parts:

  • Introduction
  • Basic factors to consider when choosing the video editor software
  • How I use VideoPad to edit my Chinese home cooking videos for Youtube channel
  • Features, pros, and cons.
  • Summary

What is VideoPad?

For those who don’t know about VideoPad, it is the video editing software which can quickly process and edit the videos. It is easy to use and can create good quality videos in a short time.

Other features I haven’t used but can be useful, such as recording your own narrative, say if you want to explain things in video rather than just playing background music. Once you finish the video editing, you can share the video online from the software interface, but I never used this because I normally save the final version to computer then upload to Youtube.

If you have some experiences, or want to add something more fancy looks to the video, you may choose or combine with other video editors (as I explained later for Pros & Cons).

Whether it is for you? It will depend on your purposes of making the video.

Purpose of Making Videos

Before we make the decision to buy anything, we need to know why we need this. Because this will help us to choose what to buy, and how much we want to spend.  The purposes of making videos may include:

•  For personal use. You may have some clips for your family or friends recorded in your mobile, and you want to make a video for your own memory or to share with friends online.

If this is why you want to make videos, then you may not need spending money on the video editing software. There are many free online tools, such as YouTube Video Editor, which can turn your clips into a short video and share online straight away.

•  For business use, making professional videos for marketing or promoting products. If you have money to spend, you may either hire someone to do this or buy more expensive software than VideoPad.

If they can do that, why not you?

Once the purpose is clear, what are the requirements when choosing a video editor?

My Requirements for Video Editing Software

•  Easy to use, not too much learning for technical stuff

Some software may produce higher quality than another, but it can take the time to learn their features. When I started to make home cooking videos, I just wanted to get my video done first to see how it worked. Get it done first, becuase we can always learn and improve later on.

I try to make about two videos each month becuase I only work on this site in spare time.

There are mainly three areas you need to consider in order to edit your own home videos.

For my case, I have videos recorded from mobile and tablet (.mp4 format), or from the compact camera, which is the AVCHD video (high resolution) in .mts format and .mpeg format.

At the beginning, I tried .avi as I remembered it was produced by free version VideoPad, (note, my case was few years ago, so this might have changed now).

But I do want little bit more nice visual effect for my videos, which I had to search other video editor options.

VideoPad Interface

Here is a screenshot from my VideoPad interface, in which I have highlighted some key areas for video editing. Note, the version I used was three years ago. But I checked the recent version (in 2017), the overall structure remains the same, except the old version presents both clip preview and sequence preview on the same screen, but the new version you chose which one to display.

Pros:

easy to use, short learning curve, has all basic features I needed to make my home cooking videos.

Cons:

It has some artistic features but not enough for “beautifying” my videos. For example, if you want to make a video that can dynamically present images or clips with music, together with some nice visual effects, I felt that VideoPad is limited in that. (To see what I meant you may check my Youtube channel trailer, or those videos containing a short intro clip at beginning, which were made by different video editor.)

Who Should Use It?

For those who need the easy operating software with enough edit features to make videos for Youtube, VideoPad is for you. You can download VideoPad (free trail) first to see if that suits your needs.

Help & Info about VideoPad Video Editor for windows

  • Will the VideoPad editor program work on my 64 bit computer?

Yes, this software will work on your 64bit computer, it works on Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and on Windows 10.

  • Am I able to create a menu section on my video DVD?

At the moment VideoPad does not have a menu section. When you put in the DVD, it will start right up with whatever you have put onto the DVD. It is not a problem if you only have one movie on your DVD, but you will have to skip through the ones you don't want to watch if you have more than one video on your DVD.

  • What are the main outputs I can use to create movies using the VideoPad?

VideoPad has over 14 outputs that will let you create movies, they are: FaceBook videos, DVDs, CDs, YouTube format videos, PSP videos, Mobile phones videos at 360p, iPhone videos, Mac playback, iPod, Flickr format videos, PC playback, HTML compatible videos for posting on the internet, Stereoscopic 3D format and JPG and PNG image sequences.

  • Does VideoPad allow you to create chapters for the DVDs?

Yes, you are able to create chapters within your videos to make skipping through them a little more efficient. There are two ways you may do this. The first is to open the sequence menu in the menu bar, select the “Player,” and select the “Set Bookmark At Cursor” function, and then click where you would like to add your bookmark. The second and easier way is to right-click your timeline, and select “Set Bookmark” from your right-click menu.

  • Does the VideoPad capture from DV based camcorders?

It can capture a video from a DV based camcorder and numerous other external devices that are able to connect to your computer. These include things such as VHS players, webcams, TVs, and so forth. The process you need to follow is to connect the camera to your computer, open VideoPad, and press the record button that is on the home tab toolbar. Once you have finished recording, you press the stop button and click the close button.

  • Can I use the VideoPad Video Editor to edit audio?

The VideoPad Video Editor has many editing tools that you can use. They include things such as fade out or fade in functions, adjust the volume of the audio clips, and audio mixing.

  • Am I able to change the speed on my videos and play them backwards?

VideoPad allows you to do this by selecting the clip that is in the sequence and opening up the sub menu that holds video effects (the small triangle icon on the video toolbar). This will open the “Enter New Clip Speed Percentage” window, where you may change the speed by putting in a new percentage. At 100% this will play at the normal speed, at 50% that will play half speed, and 200% will play double the speed. Once completed, click “Set” at the bottom of the GUI window to make the changes. To play the video backwards, you will need to click on the “Play clip in Reverse” button.

  • Is this the latest version of this software?

The VideoPad Video Editor is no longer supported by its original development team, which is why the GUI looks a little dated. This is the most recent version of the program, but it is a few years old at this point.

  • Are there Tutorials I can use?

VideoPad has a bunch of different tutorials on its website that help you learn how to create and edit your videos.

  • How much does VideoPad cost?

The version you are about to download is the free trial version. You are better off trying it first because it may not work on your computer, and there is a chance it may not suit your needs. If you are happy with the preview and you wish to purchase, then the price seems to vary from month to month. The price also changes depending upon if you want the plugins and add-ons.

VideoPad Video Editor

Video editing application

VideoPad Video Editor (or simply VideoPad) is a video editing application developed by NCH Software. It is complemented by the VirtualDub plug-ins that work with the software.[2][3][4][5] VideoPad integrates WavePad, a sound-editing program;[6] MixPad, a sound-mixing program;[7] and PhotoPad, an image editor.[8]

Features[edit]

VideoPad supports frequently used file formats[9] including Audio Video Interleave (AVI), Windows Media Video (WMV), 3GP, and DivX.[10] It supports direct video uploads to YouTube, Flickr, and Facebook.[3]

VideoPad uses two screens: the first for a preliminary review of chosen video and audio snippets and the second to review the entire track. The application supports several video effects, including those involving light, color, transitions, and text.[11]

VideoPad is presumably trialware. The free edition is feature-limited, in particular only AVI and WMV export is supported, while the non-free version has more advanced features.[12] VideoPad Master Edition supports plugins while the free version does not. The non-free edition does not limit simultaneous video tracks, but the free one allows at most two concurrent tracks and limits export file type options after the trial period expires.[4] VideoPad is also available on Steam.[13]

Reception[edit]

VideoPad has received generally favorable reviews from CNET and TopTenReviews, but has been noted to be vulnerable to rendering issues.[3][14]

Redding Record Searchlight columnist Andrea Eldridge wrote in 2012 that the "easy-to-use VideoPad brings advanced features to the beginner".[5] She said that VideoPad has a voice-over feature Windows Movie Maker did not have. The feature allows users to either record their own narration or upload existing recordings.[5]Softonic.com said VideoPad was "simple" and "easy to use" but noted that "more advanced users will definitely find it too basic" and lamented that the program had "only three [transitions]".[11] Danny Chadwick of Top Ten Reviews rated VideoPad a 6.15/10. He said the application was "great for beginners" but that it lacked "many of the transitions or extras that are standard in similar applications".[3]Maximum PC contributor Ben Kim stated in 2014 that "VideoPad is easily the best free video editor available." Kim wrote that VideoPad is "a stellar editor that manages to pack an almost obscene number of features into a surprisingly digestible package".[15]
